National Meadow Day National Meadows Day is an annual celebration of wildflower meadows across the UK. The event takes place on or around the first Saturday of July each year. The vision is for people to celebrate National Meadows Day in their own city, village, parish, wildlife reserve, allotment or farm all over the UK.
Moorcroft designer Vicky Lovatt has stepped forward to celebrate meadows in all their glory with a new limited-edition design.
Designer: Vicky Lovatt
This meadow in Brecknock is found at the foot of the Black Mountains. Its wild flowers give interest throughout the year. The meadow’s shady hedgerows in the summer foam with the green and white of cowslips, intermingled with the richly hued blooms of early Purple Orchids that flower in the summer months, which are brought to life on this popular Moorcroft jug shape. To this vision, Vicky has also added Jacobs Ladder, Red Campion and Stitchworth and the design brings myriad striking colours found in a wild meadow to life before your eyes.©06/07/2019
